October 16th - Official Pumpkin Carving Day. 2010 The Equinox Valley, home of the official Manchester Pumpkin Patch, is pleased to host the 5th Annual Pumpkin Carving Festival in Manchester, Vermont. Come help celebrate! Activities will include kids games, a craft market, food vendors, baking contest, soup competition, fresh cider donuts, wagon rides and the Equinox Nursery’s famous corn maze and more. Stick around or come back at dusk to enjoy a warm bonfire and don’t miss the Grand Event of Illuminated Pumpkins On Parade. Back by popular demand will be a PUMPKIN CARVING CONTEST. Manchester was proud to achieve the Guinness Book of World Records recognition for the most pumpkins carved in one place at the same time. We are creating a new MANCHESTER record this year. Bring your own pumpkin or buy one out of the official pumpkin patch and help us set our first Manchester record for the most pumpkins carved in one place at the same time. Help create a new record.
